Joe and Alex are two former graduates from Chelsea College of Art & Design, they both have an extreme experience in the design world, and have done work experience in various companies, aboard as well.

17th October 2011 – Nathan Davis

Tee Design is an integrated marketing agency run by Nathan Davis, the first and only RAR recommended design agency in the Greater Plymouth area. Nathan also run a monthly speakers network called Creative Brkfst.
He spoke about ‘copyright’ in the design world and how to always watch out for the people who are ‘out to get you’. Tee Design has worked with a range of companies such as Daler Rowney, BMW, Strepsils, and Boots!

5th May 2010 – Si Scott

Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Taking inspiration from music; Si creates beautiful hand crafted (with ink and pen) typography. You only need to log onto the website and you will recognise and fall in love with the distinct and unique style. He has an impressive client list including; Volvo, Hugo Boss, Nike, Guinness, Orange, MTV, Absolut, Tiffany & Co, Miller and American Express.

10th March 2010 – Michael Greenland from Greenland Studio

Michael is the owner of Greenland Studio, a creative agency in Exmouth that offers graphic and product design, as well as illustration and animation. A broad range of design that proved to be a very interesting and enjoyable lecture!

19th January 2010 – Harry Pearce of Pentagram

This lecture and subsequent exhibition of students work won the society ‘Best Society Event’ at the UPSU awards ceremony in April 2010.

Harry’s work touches many disciplines, from spatial design and identity to print and packaging. He is also dedicated to supporting human rights and over the last 15 years has created all the design material for Witness – founded by Peter Gabriel. In 2006 he joined Pentagram’s London office as Partner.

19th October 2009 – Patrick Baglee

Patrick Baglee is Director of Creative Strategy at Navyblue, an international brand development agency. He is the former Chair of The Typographic Circle, and Founder of 4 Designers, an annual student conference held in London in February, which we intend to visit each year.
